Bill was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1959. His Love for cars turned into a career in the mid 70’s. Bill is an ASE Certified Master Technician as well as a MAC Certified A/C Repair Technician. Bill has worked at many shops over the years as a technician and in management but in 1984 decided to go into business for himself. The rest is history! Lake South Automotive has been serving the Lake Minnetonka area for 29 years.
Bill is married to his high school sweetheart, Paula. They have been happily married for 35 years. They have two sons Kyle & Trevor.
Bill’s hobbies include snowmobiling, coaching hockey, pheasant hunting, and golfing. Bill and his family also enjoy visiting Mexico every fall to spend time with his niece, Raechele. They dream of building a second home on the Pacific Coast of Mexico.
Scott Simon

Scott was born in Seattle, Washington in 1956. Scott served in the U.S. Navy before starting his career in the automotive industry. Scott is also an ASE Certified Master Technician as well as a Chrysler Certified Technician. Over the years Scott has worked at a variety of shops, mainly Dodge dealerships across the metro. Scott has been part of the staff with Lake South Automotive since 2007.
Scott shares his life with his wife of 29 years, Karen. They have one daughter, Sheri. The family also has a dog named Mopar.
Scott’s Hobbies include Drag Racing and restoring old cars.
